Hooray! Flu season is almost here. Which means bosses won't ask too many questions over a sick day, and kids get to stay home and watch Ellen.
It's also the season where people plead with their doctors for one pill that will make all of it go away. Except, antibiotics do nothing for viruses. Not only that, they kill off good bacteria in your body. Good bacteria? Yes, there are millions upon trillions of good bacteria living on your body right now. So stop right there....put it down...put the antibiotic wipes/lip gloss/soda can down. Bacteria are good for you.
