Computers rule our lives.  They chain us to our desks and force us to check facebook every 5 minutes on our smartphones.  We joke our Blackberrys are our brains and our laptops are our blood.  Someday soon the joke might be on us.

The new computer age will be supercomputers - capable of processing data at rates close to our own biological computer - the brain.  How close are we to the reality of a computer smarter than us?

(Okay well it can't possibly be smarter than me or you...maybe just the people that aren't fans of Science in Seconds).
